It’s official Team! Black Excellence Beach Weekend 2027 is going down!
Please save the dates: June 24 – 28, 2027. We are traveling to Jamaica where Dreams Rose Hall Resort & Spa will be our host hotel. It’s an all-inclusive resort (unlimited food and alcohol) and this will be an adults only event.
On a serious note, the people of Jamaica really need our help. Hurricane Melissa devastated the island back in October 2025 and the country is still recovering after this natural disaster. However, the Jamaican economy has severely been impacted with tourism down almost 30% so far this year. When we asked Amstar how we can be of help, they responded, “Bring your group back to Jamaica. We need your big group.”
This request means a lot to us as the organizers and something we don’t take lightly. So BEBW 2027 will be mission-driven for our group. To bring revenue that aids tourism which ultimately helps stimulate the economy, lead to job creation and rebuild local infrastructure. Also, the goal will be to volunteer and serve multiple organizations on several different days throughout our stay. These organizations include: a primary school, an orphanage and a center for the elderly. In the words of a hotel manager, “Our partnership means more than ever.”
With this in mind, our group is answering the call and we are super excited to announce that this trip is a BEBW takeover. After an amazing buyout event in Colombia in 2025, our group needs to have that same experience again. So, for the second time in BEBW history, we are completely buying out the entire resort. And this time, it’s in a country where everyone looks like us. Every single room and every single person will be with BEBW. Can y’all imagine an entire resort just for us?!?! This will be the greatest vacation of all time. Let’s gooo!!!
Also, we have so much positive momentum after the group’s recent trip to Punta Cana. It was an amazing experience and Secrets Royal Beach was the perfect host resort. The service was exceptional and the weather was absolutely beautiful all weekend long. Plus, every event was epic as our group had some of the best DJs in the world bringing the energy. #BEBW2026 was one of the best vacations of all time and we know Jamaica will be next level!
Everybody is invited to attend this special weekend. One of the best parts is that the trip is multi-generational. We have people from all ages (18+), so nobody is too young/too old to travel with our group. The trips are like one big family reunion. Also, people fly from all over the country to participate in this dope travel experience. In the past, the cities with the most attendees have been: St. Louis, Chicago, Indianapolis, Atlanta, Jacksonville, Detroit, Houston, New York City, Omaha, Philadelphia and the DMV area.
And the events planned for next summer will be incredible! There will be a “Welcome to Jamaica” Party, a Singles Mixer/Speed Dating activity, the Sunset Kickback (Midnight Pool Party), Cigar Social, Karaoke Night, Sunday Service and of course the Beach Day Party. Plus, we can’t forget about the annual Boat Party and then the semi-formal Black & White Gala. Lastly, we are introducing the inaugural BEBW Comedy Show and a fitness bootcamp/run club, bringing back the Golf Tournament and hosting a pool party at Jamaica’s largest waterpark. A time will be had! Remember, friends don’t let friends miss group trips. No team member left behind. One band, one sound!
